Art Classes with Caroline Porter- Autumn Mason Jar Floral Class

Explore new skills with the fall inspired watercolor and ink, Autumn Mason Jar Floral, artwork. Led by watercolor artist, Caroline Porter, you’ll learn a variety of skills including watercolor layering, how to paint glass, ink drawing techniques, various flower designs, and more! This 8x10 inch artwork is perfect for beginners and intermediate. Students will get to pick what flowers and colors to incorporate in their piece after being shown several techniques for flowers. To help students gain confidence, everyone will also get to practice on scrap paper before working on their final artwork. Materials: Paper: Strathmore 300 Series Cold Press 140 lb. Brushes: Round size 6, 8 and/or 10 Watercolor Paints: Winsor & Newton Cotman Series Ink: Black Ink Pens. Instructor will provide all necessary materials for this class, however, if you would like to use your own materials (i.e. paints or brushes), students are more than welcome to bring their own.
